إن العقل العربي اليوم في حاجة إلى جهاز مفاهيمي ابستمولوجي نقدي لإعادة النظر في كثير من القضايا الفكرية والسياسية والإجتماعية والأخلاقية وعلى رأسها قضايا التراث وكيفية التعامل معها من منطلق عصري يستحضر المنجزات المعرفية والعلمية للثقافة الإنسانية والفكر العلمي، فالتأخر التاريخي الذي تحدث عنه مفكرو النهضة في الثقافة العربية المعاصرة لا زال ممكناً إلى اليوم في حين يعرف العالم تطوراً كبيراً على كافة المستويات كان من نتائجها ظهور الثورة الرقمية التي غيرت وجه العالم وفرضت علينا الإنخراط في مسار العولمة لكن بأيدي فارغة يستحيل معها مواجهة هذه التحديات التي تحيط بنا من كل جانب، وإذا كان التفكير الإبستمولوجي ينتمي إلى ميدان الفكر العلمي الحديث، فإن حضور الإبستمولوجيا داخل المشاريع الثقافية العربية من شأنه أن يعطيها حداثة ما.
