يتناول هذا الكتاب قصّة يوسف عليه السّلام، وذلك بدراسة هذه القصّة دراسةَ تأويليةَ، تعطي التأويل معناه الحقيقي، ويؤكد أن التأويل ليس المغامرة باسْتِكنَاه المعنى، لأنَّه حينئذٍ يصبحُ كهانةَ فاسدةَ، وتنجيماَ لا يرغبه الإسلام.
كما يدرس الرّؤيا، شرعيّة العلم، شرعية النص واللُّغة. - قوة التأويل، وعلم الحياة، والممات، والنجاة - فتُوحات التأويل، والإيمان بالتأويل، وانطفاء التأويل. - تجربة الروح والجسد، الزنى، الظُّلمات والنور، النَّفس الطالبة والنَّفس المطلوبة، والشَّهادة على النَّفس وظلم النَّفس والنُّبوة والرِّسالة.
إنَّه يقدِّم دراسةَ فقهيّةَ رصينةَ تعتمد على الأسس المعرفيّة والإيمانيّة.
