كما يشرح هذا الكتاب شرحاً مبسطاً عن تاريخ بعض القبائل العمانية هذا العصر الجاهلي وصدر الإسلام إلى جانب السرد لدور بعض القبائل الحديثة كما في هذا الكتاب شرح عن نسب العائلة المالكة وتفصيل عن إعلام قبائل سلطنة عمان السابقين وكذلك من منهم في الوقت الحاضر من شيوخ قبائل بارزين في المجتمع العماني وكذلك بعض العلماء المنتسبين لهذه القبائل.
وخلاصة القول فهذا الكتاب هو تعريف عن سكان سلطنة عمان لمن يهتم من الباحثين والمثقفين وعامة القراء في الوطن العربي الكبير من المحيط إلى الخليج.
