هذا الكتاب هو خلاصة ما انتهى إليه العلماء الأكابر العضد في مواقفه والبيضاوي في طوالعه والسعد في مقاصده، وهي كتب غاية في التحقيق والنَّظر، وراية في علم الأصول والمنطق الكلام.
وقد بنى العلماء الأكابر علومهم على ما أسسه سلفهم الصالح أمثال إمامي أهل السنّة والجماعة أبو الحسن الأشعاري وأبو منصور الماتريدي ومن استرط صراطهم من أمثال الأئمة الباهلي وتلاميذه الإسفراييني وابن فورك والباقلاني وغيرهم، وتبعهم بعد ذلك إمام الحرمين وحجة الإسلام.
وأودع الإمام أبو بكر المرعشي المعروف بساجقلي زاده كتابه نشر الطوالع خلاصة كلام الأئمة في المنطق والأصول والعقائد، فجاء بالمختصر الواضح وقرر المرجوح من الراجح.
فهو فريد في بابه نادر في لبابه، ولا يقدر على تأليفه إلا من هضم كلام الأكابر ووفقه الله تعالى لإعتلاء تلك المنابر.
وهذه الكتب العظيمة هي مراجع تلك العلوم ومظانّ خلاصتها، فلا بد للدارس والقارئ من فهم ما كان قبلها ليوغل فيها برفق، فإنها مباحث عالية تحتوي على خلاصات غالية، لا يقدِّر ثمنها إلا من فهم محتواها وضبط مبناها ومعناها، ونسأل الله تعالى أن نكون منهم، فإن لم نكن فلا أحوج منا لخدمة الأكابر ولا بدَّ لهم من خدم وهو الشرف الكبير.
