ولقد كان لهذه العلاقة الجدلية القائمة بين جناحي العدالة الفضل في إيجاد الحلول لكثير من الخلافات التي نشبت بصدد العلامات التجارية والرسوم والنماذج الصناعية إلى أن تصدى المشرّع السوري لهذا الموضوع بشكل واسع أخيراً فأصدر القانون 8 لعام 2007 الناظم لهذا الشأن والذي رغب فيه هذا المشرّع تغطية ما كان وما استجد في هذا الصدد في ضوء التطور السريع لإيقاع الحياة في السنوات الأخيرة، فوضع القواعد القانونية لضبط موضوع العلامات التجارية والرسوم والنماذج الصناعية وما يتصل بذلك.
من هنا، تأتي هذه الموسوعة القانونية التي تناولت قانون العلامات الفارقة التجارية والمؤشرات الجغرافية والرسوم والنماذج الصناعية الذي صدر مؤخراً في الجمهورية العربية السورية مصحوباً بأسبابه الموجبة ولائحته التنفيذية وبأهم الإتفاقيات الدولية ذات الصلة والإجتهادات القضائية الصادرة عن مختلف محاكم البلدان العربية، والغاية من هذه الموسوعة أن يكون حجم الفوائد قريبة المنال، سهلة الأسلوب، مشرقة الدلالة بحيث يدرك القارئ وفوائدها على غير مؤونة دون خلفية قانونية ولا كدّ ذهن ولا إرهاق خاطر، لتكون الموسوعة بذلك خير معين لمن يريد إستقصاء غرائب مسائل القرصنة التجارية عن طريق تقليد العلامة الفارقة وشواذها.
وقانون الحماية في هذا المجال، وتم إدراج ذلك بأسلوب بعيدٍ ومنزه عن التعقيد والأشكال والإبهام واللبس والحشو واللغو؛ بالإضافة إلى ذلك تم شرح هذا القانون بشكل موجز، وبشكل يكفل ببيان غامضه، وإيضاح مبهمه، والكشف عن دقائق أغراضه.
وأخيراً... لا غرابة أن تأتي هذه الموسوعة بهذه الأهمية طالما أنها تناولت قانوناً من أهم قوانين هذا العصر، مع إتفاقيات ومعاهدات وإجتهادات قضائية ذات العلاقة بأحكامه.
