يتألف هذا الكتاب من مقدمة و9 مقالات (126 صفحة). يجيب فيها الشيخ عن بعض أسئلة القراء حول مسائل تتعلق بعلم الباطن المسيحي، كما يشمل تعقيبات الشيخ على الأخطاء الموجودة في بعض المؤلفات حول هذا الموضوع، وهو ثالث تأليف للشيخ عن المسيحية بعد كتابه حول القديس "برنارد" وكتابه "العلم الباطن لدانتي". وهذه المقالات تدرس تنظيمات كانت تحتضن في باطنها مناهج سلوكية صوفية وعرفانية خلال القرون الوسطى في أوروبا تحت غطاء المسيحية الرسمية الشائعة، كالتنظيم المسمى "بتنظيم الهيكل" و"تنظيم أوفياء المحبة" وتنظيم "فرسان الكأس المقدسة". وفي بداية الكتاب تكلم الشيخ حول موضوعين، يتعلق الأول بأهمية اللغة العبرية في الملة المسيحية، ويتعلق الثاني بتمحور المسيحية الأصيلة حول قطبين: القطب الشرعي الظاهري العام والقطب السلوكي الباطني الخاص.
