الحقيقة، أن هذا المؤلف أخذ مني وقتاً يمتد على مدى سنوات عديدة، وكان حرصي أن يكون لدى القارئ السوري والعربي مرجعاً شاملاً حول مملكة ماري وفق أحدث المكتشفات الآثارية.
