أما في المجال التربوي فالفلسفة تلعب دوراً مهماً وبارزاً، لذلك احتلت فلسفة التربية قديماً وحديثاً دوراً لا ينسى في فهم العملية التربوية. يقع الكتاب في تسعة فصول، تناول الفصل الأول والثاني مدخلاً في ماهية الفلسفة ونشأة الفلسفة وأصل الفلسفات وميادينها والفلسفة والديموقراطية،ومن الفصل الثالث إلى الرابع فقد تناول الكاتب الفلسفة المثالية والتربية، أفلاطون وديكارت، وتناول الفلسفة الواقعية والتربوية أمثلة أرسطو،بيكون،كومينوس ولوك، ومن الفصل الخامس إلى الثامن تناول الكاتب الفلسفة الطبيعية والتربية والفلسفة البراغمانية والتربية والفلسفة الوجودية والتربية والفلسفة الماركسية ،أما الفصل التاسع والأخير فكان للفلسفة الاسلامية والتربية ،والفكر العربي قبل الاسلام وبعده ومبادئ الفلسفة الاسلامية.
