وعلى الرغم من الشهرة المدوية لهذا الكتاب في الغرب والى حد ما في الشرق فإن احداً لم يقدم على ترجمة نصوصه وفق حدود معرفتنا ربما لصعوبة ترجمتها وتعقيدها ان بلغتها الاصلية او باللغات غير العربية التي ترجم النص اليها.
عمل شلايرماخر يظهر بما لا يدع مجالاً للشك انه يمكن للكائن ان يوفق تماماً بين إيمانه الشخصي وحياديته علمانيته المطلقة حيال الدين الامر الذي يبدو صعب المنال للغاية حتى على الباحثين المؤمنين اليوم الذين يكتبون باللغة العربية.
