من ميزات شرح نهج البلاغة الميسر الذي وضعه "أركان التميمي" أنه مختلف عن غيره من الشروح التي تناولت نهج البلاغة للشريف الرضي والذي هو في مضمونه (مجموع ما اختاره الشريف الرضي من كلام أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام في الخطب والأوامر، والكتب والرسائل، والحكم والمواعظ). فالطريقة التي انتهجها التميمي في شرحه هذا (شرح نهج البلاغة الميسر) طريقة حديثة، تتميز بالسلاسة واليُسر، ولعلها تكسر الحالة التقليدية التي تعتمدها الشروح المختصرة للنهج، واستبدالها بأخرى لها ميزاتها وحسناتها، إذ عمد التميمي إلى اتباع طريقة لافتة في الشرح وهي تُمكّن (المطالع للنهج إذا استعصى عليه معنى كلمةٍ أو عبارةٍ إلا أن ينظر تحت الكلمة أو العبارة ليجد مبتغاه، بل لعله يحيط بالمتن وشرحه في نظرة واحدة، دون تكلّفه عناء البحث بين الهوامش).
وبناءً على ما تقدم احتوى الكتاب على شرح ما يقارب العشرة آلاف مفردة، مع الوضوح في المعاني والمفردات، ومراعاة الشارح لمستويات القراءة المتباينة للقراء واعتماد الحجم الصغير للخط ووضعه باللون الأحمر فيما بين السطور وتحت كل عبارة، تسهيلاً لعملية الفهم وإتماماً للفائدة ...
