يقول الله تعالى: "شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرأن هدى للناس وبيّنات من الهدى والفرقان" ولأجل أن يستفاد الإنسان المسلم من بركات هذا الشهر الكريم جاء هذا الكتاب ليجمع بين دفتيه نفحات إيمانية وأدعية خاصة بأئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام ثم صلوات وتسبيحات وغيرها من أعمال شهر رمضان الكريم.
وعليه، يحيط هذا الكتاب بأدعية تُقال عند: رؤية هلال شهر رمضان، وفيما يُقال عند الإطار ودعاء الإفتتاح لكل ليلة من ليالي شهر رمضان هي مما رواه الكليني في الكافي وكان الإمام الصادق يدعو بها، ومن التسابيح هناك: "التسبيحات العشرة" تسبّح كل يوم من شهر رمضان إلى آخره، ثم أدعية الأسحار "دعاء السَحَر المشهور". رُوي عن الرضا عليه السلام أنه قال: هو دعاء الباقر عليه السلام في أسحار شهر رمضان، يليه دعاء أبي حمزة الثمالي، ودعاء يا عدتي، ودعاء يا مفزعي، وغيرها من أدعية تُقال في الصلوات الخمس وطيلة أيام شهر رمضان المبارك وأهمها دعاء الجوشن الكبير، ودعاء المجير، ودعاء التوبة، وزيارة الإمام الحسين. وأخيراً دعاء ليلة عيد الفطر، ويوم عيد الفطر، وجميعها هي ما يحتاجه المسلم في هذا الشهر المبارك وحياته الدنيوية والأخروية أيضاً.
