ليس من المستغرب أو المستهجن أن ينشأ لدى العرب، الآن، ما يسمى في الغرب "الأدب التفاعلي" Interatctive Literature، وإن تأخر؛ ذلك أن الظاهرة الأدبية، بصورة عامة، لا تكون وليدة ساعتها، بل تمتد جذورها إلى زمن سابق، ولكن التسرع في الرؤية يقود إلى الحكم على العمل الطازج، الذي استرعى الإنتباه - بناء على ما يُشاهَد فوق سطح الأرض، وأن التأثر والتأثير حركة مستمرة، لا تكل ولا تهدأ، ما يجعل من المستغرب والمستهجن أن يبقى الأدب العربي خارج نطاق تلك الحركة.
يسعى هذا الكتاب إلى إلقاء الضوء على إشكالية المصطلح والمبادئ والبحث عن جذور للأدب التفاعلي، وإستعراض مشكلات إنتاج النص ونقده، وتحديد إستراتيجية الخطاب عند المبدعين، وكذلك النقاد، وتأكيد الحاجة لإنشاء مكتبة تفاعلية Interatctive Library، تعمل على تنمية البحث العلمي في الوطن العربي، وتوسِّع جمهور الأعمال التفاعلية، وتساعد على نشوء نقد مواكب لها، أو يُبنى عليها، ويشارك القارئ في صناعتها، وفي إبداء الرأي بمحتواها.
جاءت هذه الدراسة في مقدمة، وخمسة فصول، الأول: إشكالية المصطلح والمبادئ، والثاني: البحث عن جذور، والثالث: إنتاج العمل ونقده، والرابع: الخطاب ونقد الخطاب، والخامس: المكتبة التفاعلية والأدب، وفي نهاية الفصول الخمسة: أوردت خاتمة، تُجمل أهم النتائج التي خرجت بها الدراسة.
