بما أنّ المنطق الرّواقي هو جزء لا يتجزأ من الفلسفة، فإنّ هناك علاقة عضوية بين المنطق والقسمين الآخرين المتمثلين في الأخلاق و الطبيعة. و من هنا، تبيّن لي أنّ المنطق الأرسطي جاء متأخرا عن الفلسفة، إلاّ أنّ الرّواقيين جاء ضمن الفلسفة.ومن الملاحظ، أنّ المنطق الرّواقي يختلف عن المنطق الأرسطي. فإذا كان المنطق عند أرسطوAristote هو الأداة التي تعصم الذهن من الوقوع في الخطأ حسب الشراح، فهو لا يدخل في إطار تصنيف العلوم، في حين أنّ المنطق الرّواقي هو الجدل نفسه هدفه التّمييز بين الحق و الباطل و ما ليس حقا و ليس باطلاً.
