محمود الورواري إعلامي وأديب وشاعر يكتب والرواية والقصة القصيرة، يعمل في قناة العربية، التي قدم استقالته منها بعد ثورة 25 يناير وعمل في "قناة المحور" ولكنه عاد مجددا إلى قناه العربيه ليقدم عدة برامج منها نشرة القاهرة من مكتب القناة في مصر.
ولد بمركز ومدينة أبوصوير التابع لمحافظة الإسماعيلية, تخرج عام 1990 وعمل في 1991 في القناة الثانية المصرية في البرامج الثقافية وفى 1993 عمل في الـ ART وكان ممن ساهم في تأسيس قناة العالم الإيرانية في 2002.

انها مجموعة حوارات أجريت مع كبار الكتاب والمفكرين والسياسيين الأجانب فى فترة فاصلة فى تاريخ الأمة العربية والإسلامية وهى التى تزامنت مع غزواواحتلال العراق وما قبلة لتقدم قراءة أو فضحا للسياسة الأمريكية الإمبريالية التوسعية الظالمة بالاضافة الى جملة القضايا التى برزت بعد أحداث الحادى عشر من سبتمبر .
إن الرغبة في أن يتحول برنامج تليفزيوني إلى شبه وثيقة أو شهادة حقة بمعناها الحقيقي وليس المجازي او اللغوي في ظل وقت طغت على البرامج التليفزيونية شكلانية أفرغت العمل الإعلامي من محتواه هذه الدوافع او الطموحات هى التى دفعتني إلى التفكير في برنامج "الآخر" الذي قدمته على شاشة قناة الشارقة الفضائية خلال عامي (2002- 2003) ودلالة الزمن والتوقيت واضحة فهذه هى الفترة التى شهدت إرهاصات احتلال العراق بدءا من حملة التهديد الداعية إلى وجود أسلحة دمار شامل مرورا بدخول أول بارجة حربية إلى الخليج العربي استعدادا لاحتلال العراق حتى بداية حملة الغزوووضعه في هذا الكتاب.
