محمود الورواري إعلامي وأديب وشاعر يكتب والرواية والقصة القصيرة، يعمل في قناة العربية، التي قدم استقالته منها بعد ثورة 25 يناير وعمل في "قناة المحور" ولكنه عاد مجددا إلى قناه العربيه ليقدم عدة برامج منها نشرة القاهرة من مكتب القناة في مصر.
ولد بمركز ومدينة أبوصوير التابع لمحافظة الإسماعيلية, تخرج عام 1990 وعمل في 1991 في القناة الثانية المصرية في البرامج الثقافية وفى 1993 عمل في الـ ART وكان ممن ساهم في تأسيس قناة العالم الإيرانية في 2002.

"علَّي ألا أترك بندول رأسي يطن كثيراً حتى لايفنى الرأس في الجنون ، تركت سؤالها وشخوص حكايتي القديمة الذين خرجوا من ضيق اللفافات إلى بعض البراح المتاح في طرقات الشقة وحجراتها.
رحت أتأمل فاطمة الجديدة ، البشر حين يفنون يكونون قابلين للبعث والعودة من جديد للحياة كالنهار المقتول على مقصلة الليل. لكن الأوطان والبلاد حين تفنى وتزول فهل تعود؟" بين بلد يعيش واقعاً مُربكاً ،وآخر يأتي من أعماق ماضٍ غامض. تدور أحداث هذا الرواية ، من خلال أداء درامي أجاد الكاتب في طرحه ،بلُغة بسيطة ،وأسلوب بعيد عن المباشرة الفجَّة ،مؤسساً عالماً خاصاً به ، في زمان ومكان غير مُحددين ،وأحداث ترتبط بطبيعة المكان بلداً جديداً ،ويُرسي مبادئ وقيماً راقية ،لاتنال منها ومن بلده الكبير ،إلا خيانة أقرب الناس إليه !
