لم يكد الحبر الذي كتب به ديتلف ميليس القاضي الألماني المكلف بالتحقيق في قضية اغتيال رئيس الوزارء اللبناني رفيق الحريري يجف الا وكانت الإدارة الأمريكية متعجلة لاستصدار قرار من مجلس الأمن بفرض عقوبات ضد الجمهورية العربية السورية.. ذلك هو منطق الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية التى أصبحت تسيطر على صناعية القرار الدولي وتنفيذه وفقا لمصالحها في منطقتنا العربية وبغض النظر عن الملاحظات القانونية والفنية التى حواها تقرير ميليس في جزئية ، فإن الطابع السياسي لهذا التقرير المهزلة هو الغالب حيث تريد الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية استخدام الجريمة النكراء التى راح ضحيتها رفيق الحريري وتقرير ميليس المعد سلفا ذريعة للنيل من سوريا شعبا وقيادة عقابها على مواقفها المبدئية من القضايا الوطينة والصراع العربي- الصهيوني ومواجهة المخططات الأمريكية في المنطقة .. فكما فعلت إدارة بوش مع الشقيق العراق وخططت لاحتلاله ونهب ثرواته وطمس هويته وتفتيته إلى اجزاء تعود لتهديد سوريا في مشهد شبية بما حس بالامس في بلاد الرافدين. إن الأمانة العامة لاتحاد المحامين العرب وحرصا منها على فضح سياسة الهيمنة الأمريكية في المنطقة وإظهار عدالة الموقف السوري من جرائم تقف وراءها الصهوينية والمخابرات المركزية الأمريكية تقدم للقارئ العربي ما صدر عن ميليس في تقريريه ، وكذلك بعض الدراسات والتحليلات القانونية للتقرير. اننا نثق في قدرة المواطن العربي على القراءة الصحيحة لمضمون ما كتبه القاضي الألماني ديتلف ميليس ليقف بنفسه على الافتراءات والأكاذيب التى تحاول إدارة بوش استخدامها ذريعة للتدخل في الشأن السوري.
