لقد اهتم العلماء المسلمون منذ القدم بالاحكام التى تبين الحلال والحرام وبذلوا جهودا عظيمة لاظهارها وتوضيحها وذلك استنباطا من النصوص الدينيه وهى القران ولاسنة منذ زمن الصحابة حتى فنشأ هذا العلم الذى عرف بعلم الفقه وقد اخذ العلم هذا الاسم لان معنها فى اللغه يعنى الفهم وحين الادراك ليكون دلاله على معرفه الاحكام الشرعية المتعلقة باعمال المكلفين والمستنبطه او المستخرجه من الدلة التفصيلية وهى القران والسنة والاجماع والاجتهاد وقد اجتهد العلماء فى اخراج ثروة هائلة من هذه المصنفات سواء المذهبى منهااو غير الذهبى على تفاوت احجام فمنها المتون الصغير ومنها الأسفار الضخمة التىتشمل التفاصيل والجزيئاات ولافروع والواقعى منها والافتراضى وقد كان لاصحاب هذه المصنفات غايات شخصية أو علمية او اجتماعية يهدفون اليها من وراء هذا التفاوت فى التصنيف وهذا العصر يهتم الكثيرون بمعرفة الحلال والحرام والالتزام بتعاليم الدين واصبح الاقبال على كتب الفقه كبيرا ومن هنا جاء هذا الكتاب الذى يشرح متن صغير فى الفقه الشافعى وذلك لتوضيح أحكام الحلال والحرام والتواصل مع تراثنا التأليفى العريض فى هذا العلم .
