يصدر العدد الخامس ليكمل سلسلة أولى من الاقتصاد العربي بين الماضي والمستقبل. وهذا العدد كسابقاته ن الأعداد التي صدرت حتى الآن يتناول أكثر من موضوع وقضية وشأن. ويتضمن أربعة فصول، الفصل الأول: الأمور المالية العربية، ويحتوي على خمسة دراسات. الثاني يتناول موضوع المؤسسات المالية العربية والاستثمار العربي ويشمل ست دراسات. أما موضوع الفصل الثالث فهو شؤون وقضايا عربية ويحتوي على ثماني دراسات. والفصل الرابع "الأحداث والأهداف" فإنه يتناول مجموعة من المقالات كان قد سبق نشرها في مجلة الاقتصاد اللبناني والعربي.
