في هذا الكتاب يقدم الكاتب السياسي والناقد الصحافي المصري "وائل عبد الفتاح" مجموعته الشعرية الأولى سماها "الغرام" يقدم فيها تصورات وإنطباعات ومواقف جمالية، جريئة في طرحها لهذه المقاربة الإنطباعية- التأملية. يترك الشاعر للقارئ أن يفهم دلالة العنوان، وصدى متخيله الشعري الذي ربما يكون أشبه بإرتجالات متفاوتة الأجسام والمساحات من جهة الرؤية ومنظور الرؤية وعمقها، وربما تكون عبثاً عن وجه آخر للغرام الذي تملؤه الذكريات، والاحلام لتحمل الشاعر إلى عوالم مختومة بكلمات الحب التي تنبثق من الداخل، صوراً تتلوها صور، فنغوص معه في رحلة الغرام ورحلة العمر بلا حواجز، اللقب الذي كونته سنوات خبرته الطويلة. يقول في قصيدة العاصفة: تجتاحني نقطة سوداء/ تخلع عني جداري الآخر/ تتسلل/ الصوت يعلوم من مكتبها/ حصوني تسقط/ أراها الأن بلا حواجز اللقلب الذي كونته سنوات خبرتي/ وبياض شعرتين تحبهما المراهقات/ تحب القهوة الأمريكية... وتكره أميركا/ أستعيد الحاجز الآخر وأقفز من شرفة في الفراغ/ تبتلعني دوامة الوداع... في العاصفة. يأتي هذا الديوان "الغرام" في خمسة وثلاثون قصيدة، كتبت بقلم شاعر وناقد وسياسي، فكان أن جمع مؤلفه الكل، والحب والوطن، والثورة، والأمل، والحنين والغرام...
