نستطيع ان نسمى مؤلف الكتاب بكل بساطه عاشق السودان .. وقد كان مدرسا معارا فى الخرطوم ولشدة عشقه للسودان التى كانت جزء لا تتجزأ من مصر تاريخيا وإقليميا وجغرافيا .. لشدة هذا العش اصطحب اسرته إليها ةعاشةا فيها حتى تخرج اولاده من الجامعه وعرف بين الاوساط السودانية بحبه الشديد لها حتى انه أصبح يكتب فى الجرائد والمجلات المصرية والسودانية فى عشقة هذا وتلك الوحدة بين البلدين حتى انتهت فترة اعارته .. ولم يستطيع ولم يرد ان يفصل حياته يوما عن السودان ولا هو ولا احد من أسرته وهذا على المستوى الشخصى على مستوى الشعبين ولكن الساسه والحكومات ظلت تتفلسف حتى الفل الرابط وانتهت وحدتنا التى لم تتجزا يوما من قبل .
