روايتك هذه تمضي قدماً بسلاسة واقتدار. وإسناد البطولة والسرد للنساء أضفي على الرواية رونقاً وبهاءً: رندة ولميس وآمنة والجدة و(الملاكان) شخصيات لا تنسى. وكذلك الأمر في (تحت شمس الضحى)، فقد نجحت في تصوير أزمة هذه المرحلة الملتبسة، وفي رصد شخصية الدكتور، وهو آفة من آفاتنا الراهنة، هذا الدكتور نعرفه تماماً هنا. لقد أعطيت لشخوص روايتك حياة مجسدة على محو مقنع إذ لا يمكن نسيان الطفلين: نمر ونعمان، ولا يمكن نسيان أم الوليد، نورة، نعيم، ياسين، سليم، والدكتور، وكذلك وردة إنها شخصية نسائية ظريفة وخصبة.
إنك تتحدث عنا بأسلوب آخاذ، وترانا بطريقة جميلة وصائبة وأنا أرى أنك تكمل ما لن يستطيع إكماله غسان كنفاني، متمنياً لك طول العمر لكي تنجز مشروعك الروائي الكبير.
