وهذه القضايا والآراء إضافة- إلى أخواتها في الطبعة الاولى وهى : تعددية النص المترجم إلى اللغة العربية ، غياب المفهوم التاريخي في النصوص المترجمة إلى العربية تعريب العلوم وقضية الدولة عناني وفن الترجمة ، وظيفة الترجمة اللغة العربية بين التصعيد والترجمة ، الترجمة الابداعية ، ترجمة المصطلح النقدي - تمثل في مجملها محاولت من واقع التجربة العملية معالجة مشاكل حيوية في حقل الترجمة العربية.
وإذا كان للكتاب من إضافة فانه عالج في مقالي مستقلين بعضا من مشاكل الترجمة الفورية في الطبعة الثانية. إلى حانب ذلك تناول الكتاب في دراسة مستفيضة الحالة المزاجية للقصيدة الضبابية لشاعرة مثل إديث سيتويل التى يفر من قراءتها أى قارئ فما بالك بم يترجمها وهذه الدراسة تؤرخ لترجمة اول قصيدة من لغة اجنبية إلى العربية وقوفا عند ترجمة شلي العربية ، ووصولا إلى ترجمة نذير العظمة لبعض من قصائد إديث سيتويل.
