إنّ هذا الكتاب هو محاولة لرسم معالم شخصيّة هذا الرّجل ولتحليل مسيرته السّياسيّة وجلاء ما اكتنفها من غموض وتناقض. ورغم قرب المؤلّف من سيف الإسلام ومعرفته بسيرته وكشفه عن جوانب عديدة منها، فإنّ ابن القذافي هذا، الذي كان مرشحـاً لقيادة معركة الإصلاح التي قلب لها ظهر المجنّ، يبقى لغزاً يحتاج إلى المزيد من التحرّي السيكولوجي والتدقيق الأرشيفيّ.
