منذ عرفت ما عرفت عن الصهيونية، خصوصاً بعد هجرتي إلى بلاد الغرب مَهْد الصهيونية الحديثة فقد حلمتُ على مدى سنوات وسنوات؛ أن أضع أمام القارئ العربي بعض الحقائق عن الصهيونية، وعن علاقتها بالحضارة الغربية، فمِنْ بين آلاف الكتب والمخطوطات التي تعج بها المكتبات في العالم، بكل لغات أهل الأرض عن اليهودية والصهيونية، ومن خلال الممارسة الميدانية بما يحل بالفلسطينيين والعرب، لم تكن المهمة سهلة لغربلة ما يمكن أن يُقدم في كتاب واحد؛ خصوصاً وأن الأحداث تتسارع بردود الأفعال والتفاعلات ولم تتوقف حتى الآن، لكنني حاولت، كان تحدياً ليس سهلاً، أن أسهب فيه أو أن أوجز، وأن أحشر قناعتي كمواطن عربي أو أن أحافظ على حياد الباحث عن الحقيقة.
فدائماً تصدمنا القراءات التي نحدثها صدفة أحياناً، فتفتح بصائرنا على ما يُذهل من حقائق، وحينها نتمنى لو بقينا على حالنا من الجهل، خانعين مختبئين في دهاليز الضياع، ولأننا كما قال أحدنا، شعب عَفُواً، شعوب عربية بلا ذاكرة محترمة، بسبب ما وصلنا إليه، فيجب أن تكون الكتابة بكافة أشكالها، الفأس الحاد الذي يهشم جماجمنا المتحجرة، لنجعل عقولنا المتجمدة تعود للحياة، لكي تصنع فكراً متجدداً، يعي جيداً دروس الماضي، ويجعلنا نستحق العيش أعزاء على تراب بلادنا.
بعد قراءة هذا الكتاب بحساب مادة الأحداث والسنين، وبحساب العقل والمنطق، دعنا عزيزي القارئ نسأل أنفسنا ونحاول أن نجيب هل كان العرب على حق حينما رفضوا قرار تقسيم فلسطين عام 1947 م؟ الإجابة قبل قراءة الكتاب أو قبل معرفة كيف وجدت الصهيونية لن تكون عادلة.
