غسيل الدماغ (Brainwashing): هو إستخدام أي طريقة للتحكم في فكر شخص وإتجاهاته دون رغبة أو إرادة منه، ويسمى أيضاً غسيل المخ أو لحس المخ (أو الدماغ) أو التفكيك النفسي.
تعتمد عملية غسيل الدماغ على طبيعة العقل الباطني، فعقلك الباطني لا يمنطق أو يجادل الأشياء، وإنما يستقبل ما يطبع داخلة، أو ما يؤمن به عقلك الواعي الظاهر، ويستجيب عقلك الباطن للأفكار أو الإيحاءات التي تزرع فيه بعد تكرارها في عقلك الواعي الظاهر أو الأيحاء، أو التنويم المغناطيسي وغيرها.
لا يستطيع أي إيحاء أن يفرض شيئاً ما على العقل الباطن ضد رغبة العقل الواعي الظاهر، ولكن بالإيحاء والتكرار وعوامل نفسية ومادية أخرى يمكن النفاذ إلى العقل الباطن وزرع الأفكار السلبية السامة فيه.
لا يملك أي إيحاء أو إفتراض القوة بحد ذاته إلا في حالة قبولك له عقلياً، مما يؤدي إلى تدخل قوى عقلك الباطني بطريقة سلبية مكبلة القيود ووفقاً لطبيعة الإيحاء أو الإفتراض.
