في جديده الأدبي "مُكعبُ روبيك" يرمق الشاعر أمجد المحسن بعين بلاغية، مفطورة على الترميز، ومنسجمة مع المجاز، حالة الذات في توحدها مع العالم والأشياء، فيرسم بالكتابة قوانين الحياة التي عاشها في عالمه، والتي يراها بعينه أنها الحقيقة "قال: وعليك أن تكتب الشعر بهذا الشكل، وعلى هذا النول، وبهذه المفردات وحدها. قلتُ: وماذا بعد؟ ". وبهذا الفعل يعيدنا الشاعر إلى صوت الشعر الذي يستشعر الأشياء، ويمارس غرابته الخاصة، من خلال توقيعات نثرية غير متحررة من المعنى وقد تحرر فيها الشاعر من ذاكرته، ليضع بها ذاكرة جديدة، وذلك ببناء مشهدية صورية تسلسلية، يؤثث فيها الشاعر خلفية مشاهده بفلتات تشده إلى غير (السائد والنمطي) في الكتابة الشعرية، ولتتشكل الرؤية من مفارقة هذا وذاك.
نقرأ للشاعر النص (87): "والشعر نثر ضد النثر، وريشة أندلسية على من يجلس في ظهيرةٍ. من برىء من الشعر لن يُشفى من النثر، ومن نفر من قصائد النثر غزته غزلان من نواحيه".
و "مكعب روبيك" يتألف من (150) نصاً نثرياً أبدع مؤلفها في هذا اللون من الفن الرفيع.
