يرشح نص الشاعر أمجد المحسن "حضرة ذوات الأكمام" عن مستويات أدائية تعبيرية متعددة ثرية عمد فيها الشاعر إلى تخليف المعاني في صيغة نثرية، متحركة في سلسلة أفكار حلمية وانفعالية تراكمية "كناقل القمر من خط إلى هجرٍ../ مني إليّ! إذا.. ماذا فعلت أنا؟/ كالعشق ما فيه إلا العشق يملأه/ أنا هنا.. وحبيبي حيث كان.. هنا!". إن البؤرة المركزية التي تنطلق منها إشاعات النص عند الشعر "المحسن" تقوم على الجدلية الثنائية بين موضوعتي (الزمن والوعي) هاتان الوحدتان هما اللتان تشكلان جسد النص ووجوديته يثيرهما الشاعر في لغة إشارية تتشكل من مجموعة من الألفاظ عبر نسق تجريدي ويتجسّد هذا المنظور في قصيدته "في جزيرة حيّ بن يقظان" حيث يقول:" هبطنا، إذا أرض الجزيرة، واختفى/ بنا شجر "القرم" الكثيف وساحله/ هنا وطن؟ بل نملة في مفازةٍ.. / وما وطن هذا الذي قلّ آهله؟/ وصحنا به حيّ بن يقظان حينا/ فجاء عليه عزلته معرفية../ ملبدة أعصابه وأنامله../ أنا حرّ، قلنا: أي حرية هنا؟/ وما فضل ما تمتحنه فضائله؟.."
