انسجاماً مع مسؤوليته الشرعية والدينية، كان للإمام السيد موسى الصدر مشروع كبير، يحمل في طياته أحلام الفقراء وأمانيهم، كان صاحب رسالة إنسانية سمحاء، يفيض منها الخير كل الخير، ليدفأ في كنفها المحرومون، ويطمئن إلى حماها القلقون، وتكون ملاذاً للمحرومين في أرضهم والمحرومين من أرضهم.
ولأن فلسطين كانت، ولا تزال، المبدأ والخبر في الساحتين العربية والإسلامية، فقد شكلت مقياس الإنتماء إلى الأمة والإنحياز إلى حقوقها، من هنا كانت لها المساحة الواسعة في فكر وسلوك الإمام، فقد جاهد سماحته في سبيل الحقوق المدنية والاجتماعية لأبناء الشعب الفلسطيني عندما غاب الجميع.
ولما كان أمام كل عظيم تبرز تحديات تكون في مستوى الطموح لمفاهيم مشروعه الحضاري وفلسفته السياسية والاجتماعية، فإن الإمام السيد موسى الصدر لم يكن في مأمن من مواجهة المؤامرات والتحديات التي اعترضت سبيله و رمت إلى وأد مشروعه الحضاري.
من هنا، ووفاء لسماحته، كان من حقه علينا أن نعيد قراءة أفكاره قراءة أمينة تعيد الاعتبار لهذه القامة المهيبة فكرياً وسياسياً وجهادياً، بما يؤسس لإعادة نظر شاملة في مكونات القوة التي يمكن ستنهاضها وتوظيفها في الصراع الدائم.
