ليست المشكلة في الدين، إنما في ذلك التشبيت الذي يلقاه، والذي يصبح به، ليس في تعاليمه الإيمانية فحسب، بل حتى في أكثر تعاليمه دنيوية، خارجاً عن الزمان والمكان، بحيث يصبح كممارسة معيقاً لأي تغيير في الأوضاع السائدة من هنا كانت في الماضي الثورات والإصلاحات الدينية، ولذلك الآن فصل الدين عن الدولة والسياسية والعلم، لكي لا يُستغل الدين، ولكي نتمكن من إقامة مجتمع عصري يتعايش فيه جميع أبناء الوطن بشتى دياناتهم، ولكي تُرضى الحاجات الإنسانية على أفضل وجه، وفي مقدمتها حاجة بقاء الذات وحاجة الجنس، على طريق تحقيق سعادة الإنسان التي هي غاية ذاتها ولا غاية فوقها.

نحن أبناء وبنات آدم وحواء، خلقنا من روح الله، كما هو مبين في القرآن الكريم فعلاقتنا به علاقة محبة أبوية، لا علاقة تسلّط، ولا يريد لنا إلا الخير والسعادة لكنه يعود إلينا نحن البشر ، إن كنا لا نستطيع، بما خُلقنا به من نوازع وطاقات، أن نوفق بالخير فيما بين مختلف دوافعناالفردية أو الفئوية (جميعاً) ضمن تجمعاتنا بدءاً من الاسرة مروراً بالدول والحضارات وانتهاءً بالمجتمع البشري كاملاً، بل وبالكيان الأرضي حاجاتنا ودوافعنا وغرائزنا المعيشية والجنسية مخلوقة فينا لخيرنا، وليست شريرة بالأصل، إنما كل الشر فيها عندما تصير عدواناً من البعض على الآخر.
