رأيت والسيارة تتحرك بنا عبر الطريق الذي تحفّه الأشجار وجه نسناس صغير يطل من بين الأغصان وينظر نحوي بعينين تمتلآن فضولا، فأدرت رأسي نحو هذا النسناس، أنظر إليه بأسف واعتذار ولسان حالي يطلب الصفح منه، لأنني ظلمته وظلمت القرود من بني قومه، عندما اعتبرتهم مصدر خطر وتهديد لحياتي وعفتي وحياتي وعفاف كل النساء، بينما الخطر كان يكمن في نوع من البشر، تستحي وحوش الغابة من أفعالهم وترفض الهبوط إلى الدرك الأسفل من الخسة والنذالة والوحشية الذي هبطوا إليه
