ضمن هذا الإطار جرت دراسات علمية عديدة في معظم البلدان أثبتت صحة "أقوال" النباتيين بأنهم الأكثر مناعة ضد الأمراض، ومعهم يلتقي البروفسور "يورغن واهر ندوف" من مركز أبحاث السرطان في "هايدلبرع" بألمانيا، فينصح الناس بالإقلال من تناول اللحوم إذا أرادوا التمتّع بصحة جيدة وحياة طويلة، مضيفاً أن نسبة الوفيات بالنوبات القلبية وحدوث الأورام الخبيثة هي أقل بحوالي 50% بين النباتيين بالمقارنة مع بقية السكان بشكل عام.
إن الوجبات اليومية الثلاث هي العصب الأهم في المحافظة على الصحة بشكل عام (جسدياً وذهنياً)، لذا ينصح علماء الصحة بتناولها بإنتظام ولكن من دون شراهية قد تتقلب خطراً؛ إن مضمون هذا الكتاب ليس جديداً أو مبتكراً، إنه خلاصة تجارب وبحوث ودراسات محلية وعالمية، وقد ظهرت نتائجها في العديد من المنشورات وقد جمع المؤلف "بعضها" المتعلّق بحياتنا اليومية، وعمل على تنسيقه ليكون في متناول الجميع مساعداً في إختيار غذاء نباتي يوفر الأمان.
