سوف يتناول الباحث الإتحادات الرياضية الفلسطينية قيد البحث بالدراسة، وهي (كرة القدم - كرة اليد) ، ممثلة للألعاب الجماعية و (ألعاب القوى والجمباز) ، ممثلة في الألعاب الفردية في هذه الدراسة، ويرى الباحث أن تطبيق عناصر عملية التخطيط بالأسلوب العلمي الحديث في الإتحادات الرياضية الفلسطينية، يساعد على تحقيق الأهداف المرجوة من هذه الإتحادات الرياضية الفلسطينية، وإن أي قصور كعدم وجود سياسات أو عدم توزيع الميزانية، أو عدم وجود برامج زمنية محددة لعمل هذه الإتحادات الرياضية الفلسطينية، يترتب عليه عدم إتمام عملية التخطيط بنجاح الأمر الذي يتطلب ضرورة وجود كفاءات فردية قادرة على تطبيق الأسلوب التخطيطي بأحدث الطرق العلمية، ومن هنا تكمن عملية الدراسة من أنها أولى هذه الدراسات التي تناولت المشكلة في فلسطين، ويتناول الباحث هذا الموضوع بالدراسة وهو "دور التخطيط في تحقيق بعض أهداف الاتحادات الرياضية الفلسطينية لقطاع البطولة بدولة فلسطين"
