فمن يرصد عن قرب ركبهم الصالح يستأنس بمن فيه، ويلحق بظلهم مؤملاً السير بجوارهم، والانضواء تحت لوائهم، فما أروع العيش في رحابهم! وما أجدر القرب منهم والاقتداء بهم! ولله در الإمام الشافعي حين قال: أحب الصالحين ولست منهم لعلي أن أنال بهم شفاعة وأكره من تجارته المعاصي ولو كنا سواء في البضاعة.
وها نحن أخي القارئ فتحنا لك باب مدينتهم، فادخلها وتجوّل في دروبها؛ لتعرف سكانها، عسى الله أن يجعلنا وإياك في جوارهم، أو قريبًا منهم.
