إن علم السنة النبوية بعد الكتاب العزيز أعظم العلوم قدراً، وأرقاها شرفاً وفخراً؛ إذ عليه مبنى أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية، وبه تظهر تفاصيل مجملات الآيات القرآنية، كيف لا ومصدره عمَّن لا ينطق عن الهوى، إن هو إلا وحي يوحى صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقد دعا لحامل سُنَّته ومُبلِّغ شريعته، فقال: «نضَّر الله امرأً سمع مقالتي فبلغها؛ فرُبَّ حامل فقهٍ غير فقيه، ورب حامل فقهٍ إلى من هو أفقه منه»، فشمَّر العلماء عن سواعد الجد، وتحمَّلوا المشاقَّ في جمع الأحاديث والسُّنن؛ ليكونوا خلفاء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. وممَّن حاز قصب السبق، وتصدَّر ضمن الأصول الستة الإمام ابن ماجه القَزويني رحمه الله تعالى، وكتابه أصلٌ أصيلٌ من دواوين السنة المطهرة، وركنٌ ركينٌ من ركائز الأحاديث النبوية، امتاز هذا السِّفْر بحسن الترتيب والتبويب، من نظر فيه.. علم مكانة مؤلفه ومنزلته بين المتقدِّمين. ولقد هيأ الله لهذا الكتاب من قام بنشره؛ كالأستاذ محمد فؤاد عبد الباقي، والدكتور محمد مصطفى الأعظمي، والدكتور بشار عواد معروف وغيرهم، فبذلوا وسعهم ونشروا عملهم، جزاهم الله خيراً. ولقد وفَّق المولى سبحانه القائمين بجمعية المكنز الإسلامي إلى جمع ثمانٍ وعشرين نسخة خطية، اختير منها عشر نسخ نفيسة، سبع منها كاملة، وبعضها بالغة الإتقان، مقروءة على الأئمة الحفَّاظ الأعلام، وعليها خطوطهم وتقييداتهم وضبطهم؛ مما ساعد على تصحيح كثيرٍ من الأخطاء والأوهام الواردة في الطبعات السابقة؛ في الأسانيد والمتون، وخاصة في أسماء الرجال. ولقد زادت هذه الطبعة عن سابقاتها أكثر من مئة وستين حديثاً، وقد أنجز هذا العمل الكبير جمهرةٌ من الباحثين في علوم السنة النبوية واللسان العربي بجمعية المكنز الإسلامي بإشراف الدكتور أحمد معبد عبد الكريم أستاذ الحديث الشريف بجامعة الأزهر، وهذا من كريم فضل الله وإحسانه، فإليكم هذه الدُّرة الفاخرة بحُلَّتها القشيبة.
