Book Description
تقع نيسابور في إقليم خراسان، الذي يشغل الزاوية الشمالية الغربية من إيران على حدود روسيا وأفغانستان. فتحها المسلمون أيام عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه، على يد الأمير عبد الله بن عامر بن كريز سنة إحدى وثلاثين صلحاً، وقيل غير ذلك.
وتاريخ نيسابور، صنفه أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الحاكم النيسابوري لأنه وجد نيسابور مع كثرة العلماء بها والحفاظ لم يصنفوا في تاريخها شيئاً. وتاريخه كما يقول العلماء هو سيد التواريخ، وهو أعود التواريخ عل الفقهاء بفائدة. وقد بدأ الحاكم بذكر مفاخر خراسان بإشارة آيات وأحاديث وأخبار. وما ورد في تفسيرها ثم ذكر أحاديث في فضل فارس.
ثم ذكر ما ورد في فضائل نيسابور ثم قسم كتابه إلى سبع طبقات، ذكر في الأولى الصحابة وهم ثمان وعشرون صحابيا ، وذكر علماء نيسابور وإشراقها والتابعين من الطبقة الثانية، ثم ذكر أتباع التابعين من النيسابوريين ومن وردها أو سكنها أو حدّث بها من علماء الإسلام. في الطبقة الثالثة.
أما الطبقة الرابعة، فذكر فيها أتباع الأتباع بعد الصحابة وهو القرن الرابع بعد النبوة والثالث بعد الصحابة، ثم ذكر في الطبقة الخامسة علماء نيسابور ومن دخلها ونشر علمه فيها. وذكر في الطبقة السادسة، ذكر الطبقة السادسة من العلماء النيسابوريين ومن سكنها وحدّث فيها من علماء المسلمين. وأما الطبقة السابعة فذكر فيها أسامي المشايخ الذين رزق السماع منهم من هذه الطبقة (أي السادسة)
وبعد ذلك أضاف الحاكم لاحقة، ترجم فيها لمن توفي من شيوخه وإخوانه بعد انتهائه من تاريخ نيسابور، وقد فقد (تاريخ نيسابور) إذ لم يعثر على مخطوطته ولم يوجد منه إلا ترجمة فارسية مختصرة. وقد اقتصر المحقق في عمله هذا على تجميع الطبقة السابعة من تاريخ نيسابور، وهي طبقة شيوخ الحاكم واعتمد في ذلك على مخطوطة فارسية مختصرة لتاريخ نيسابور. وقد حافظ المحقق على نص المخطوطة تلك رغم ما فيها من التصحيف فنقل تحتل ما تجمع لديه من كلام الحاكم في الترجمة المذكورة ووضع رموزاً للمصادر التي اعتمدها في تجميع الترجمة على هامش فقرات الترجمة.
