الكتاب الذي بين آيدينا الآن هو (الحاوي في فتاوي الحافظ أبي الفضل عبد الله الصديق الغماري) فقد كان فضيلته يتولى الفتوى على أسئلة القراء بمجلة الشرق العربي التي كانت تصدر بالقاهرة ابتداء من سنة 1947 إلى 1951 ولقد قام أحد تلاميذه الأستاذ الفاضل (إبراهيم أحمد شحاتة) بجمع هذه الأسئلة والإجابة عنها من هذه المجلة وجمعها في كتاب مستقل، ولما كان هذا الكتاب قد طبع منذ فترة طويلة والكثير من الناس وطلاب العلم لا يعرفون مكان هذا الكتاب أردنا طبعه بصورة جديدة ومنقحة وقمنا بوضع عناوين للأسئلة حتى يكون القارئ على دراية تامة بمعرفة السؤال.
