لن نقول: إن إعلامنا في أحسن أحواله، لكنه بالتأكيد ليس كما يحاولون وصفه، لدينا ما نعانيه، ولنا، ما لنا، وعلينا أيضاً ما علينا، ويكفينا فخراً أننا صوت وطني لم يبع، لم يهادن وليست الإثارة غايته، إنما الموضوعية، نحن إعلام وطن ودولة ورسالة، قبل أن نكون إعلام أي أحد.
ولو لم يكن هذا الإعلام قد أدى شيئاً من رسالته ودوره لما تكالبت عليه القوى الخارجية، ولما وضعته نصب عدوانها.
الغريب في الأمر أن البعض لا يكلف نفسه عناء متابعة الإعلام، وبعضهم يعتز أنّه لم يشتر صحيفة منذ سنوات، ولكنه يطلق أحكامه، ومن باب أنه خبير إعلامي، والأكثر طرافة في الأمر أن الجميع كما يبدو يفهمون بالإعلام أكثر من الإعلاميين، ومع ذلك شكراً لكم، نحن أبناء الحياة، تقحمنا الموت وأطعمناه أقلامنا، لسنا على تخوم المقابر أبداً، وحبرنا، صوتنا، صورتنا، من نبض الناس وللناس، ويكفينا ذلك.
