انعقدت الدورة الثالثة لندوة سيما الاقتصادية برعاية من السيد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور محمد مصطفى ميرو, رافقها معرض صناعي كبير هو معرض سيما 2001 , الذي نظمه مركز الرضا للكمبيوتر/قسم الدراسات الإدارية وتكنولوجيا المعلومات, وحملت الندوة عنواناً وطنياً كبيراً هو (ثقافة المؤسسات وأبعاد التطوير الاجتماعي والاقتصادي) شارك فيها محاضرون ومحاورون كبار من السادة الوزراء, وأساتذة الجامعات والباحثين في حقول الفلسفة والاقتصاد والإدارة والمعلوماتية, وقد فتحت الندوة بأيامها الثلاثة المكثفة حواراً فكرياً كبيراً في موضوع ضخم يحتاج عشرات المحاضرات والندوات, وعلى الرغم من التكثيف كان الحوار غنياً ومثل بداية مبشرة لتوصيات مهمة في تطوير الفكر المؤسسي وتوطيد دعائمه في عصر التحديث والتطوير, الذي يقوده الرئيس بشار الأسد, وحملنا مسؤولية توثيقه ونشره, بغاية فتح آفاق تطوير الفكر المؤسساتي, ومن أجل تغيير العقلية السائدة وتعزيز ثقافة فرق العمل, والاستثمار في العنصر البشري, والفكر المعرفي والإبداع والابتكار, وذلك من خلال موضوعات الندوة المتشعبة التي انطلقت من التربية إلى الثقافة إلى التعليم, وصولاً إلى فلسفة فكر المؤسسات والإدارة والاقتصاد والمصارف وأسواق المال.
وهذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا يحتوي على أوراق عمل هذه الندوة الاقتصادية، وعلى كافة الكلمات التي ألقيت في المؤتمر والتي جاءت على هامشه.
