إن الحديث عن موضوع البحث وهو القواعد المنظمة لعقود البيع والتجارة الدولية أقرب إلى الحديث عن قصة العالم وما يدور فى هذا الفلك, فكم كان هذا الأمر عصياً خاصة بعد أن أخترت هذا الموضوع لبحثه وتسليط الضوء عليه مجتهداً فيه على قدر استطاعتى وعلمى فليس من المعقول أن تحدث تلك العقود الدولية والأتفاقات الدولية كل تلك الآثار على بنو البشر والأنظمة والقوانين المحلية ولا نتعرف على ملامحها العامة على الأقل، إن موضوع البحث سيتناول تقديم نبذة مختصرة عن نشأت منظمة التجارة الدولية ونظرة على تاريخ التنظيم التجارى الدولى واتفاقيات التجارة الدولية الرئيسية فى نطاق منظمة التجارة الدولية وألية عمل منظمة التجارة العالمية وأجهزتها وذلك توطئة للدخول فى موضوع البحث حيث وجدت أنه لابد وقبل الخوض فى موضوع البحث أن نسبقه بمقدمة موجزة عن منظمة التجارة الدولية, ثم نتناول تعريفات عامة لقانون التجارة الدولى الخاص, يلى ذلك تحديد ملامح عامة لموضوع القواعد المنظمة لعقود البيع الدولية من خلال عرض لنصوص إتفاقية الأمم المتحدة بشأن عقود البيع الدولى للبضائع (اتفاقية فيينا 1980) وبعض التعليق على أحكام تلك الأتفاقية، بعدها نتناول وبالمناسبة نشأة وتاريخ غرفة التجارة الدولية وصوراً أخرى من أشكال عقود البيع الدولية المتعارف عليها دولياً وفقاً لقواعد غرفة التجارة الدولية.
