"ربي دعوتم فاستجب لدعائي ما شئت وألطف بي وبدد دائي، عانيت من شجو ومن شجن، وربي أمل بأن رضاك سر شفائي، أنعمت يا رب الورى، فحبوتني عمراً ندي الجود والآلاء وبثثت في قلبي تقيً وسماحةً وسلكتني في موكب الخلصاء فإذا حمدت، حمدت فضلك منعماً يا رافل النعماء بالنعماء! عمري رهينك ما تشاء، فإن يطل فلأنت ملهم نوره الوضاء وإذا انقضى زيت السراج، ولم تعد لي فسحة في عالم الأحياء لبيك يا رب السموات العلي هبني بلوغ سمائك الفيحاء! ربي أعود إلى رحابك هانئاً وبي الحنين لأرضك السمحاء في هذه الدنيا كتبت لي الهدى ورحمتني وعفوت عن أخطائي وجعلت لي في الناس حباً غامراً ورفعتني، يا أكرم الكرماء! لي أخوة شم الجباه، أماثل هم كنزي المرصود للعلياء ورفيقة العمر البهي على المدى "ليلاي" سر سعادتي وهنائي وبناتي الزهرات في روض المنى أطلعن كل كرامة زهراء دنياي هن، أبارح الدنيا وفي قلبي لهن مودتي ووفائي! ولكن يعز علي أحفاد غدوا حبي وحلمي في غدي وضيائي، ولربما سعدوا بذكر عاطر يزكو عزاؤهم به وعزائي! رباه، إن يأذن جلالك فاحتسب إيمان قلبي شافعاً لرجائي أنا في عبادم مستغيث، باذل عمري لحبك تحت كل سماء ما شئت فالطف بي وبدددائي فحنانك الدفاق فيه شفائي!".
