والمُؤلِّفُ هو: بُرهانُ الدِّين والإسلام إبراهيم الزَرْنُوجي الحنفي، المُتوفّى في حدود سنة 610ﻫ، من تلامذة برهان الدين الفَرْغاني صاحب كتاب (الهداية) في فروع الفقه الحنفي.
