الأجزاء السبعة بعنوان "إشكاليات" تجمع المحاضرات التي أعطاها جان لابلانش في إطار وحدة الدراسات والأبحاث (UER) في العلوم الإنسانية العيادية في جامعة باريس VII. وهي تتجمع كلها في كتاب واحد يلخّصها جميعها: الأسس الجديدة للتحليل النفسي (والتي صدرت في PUF سنة).
محاضرات سنة 1991-1992 عالجت مسار التطور الجنسي عند الطفل. وهي تضع في مكان ملحق مفهوم الإسناد وتبيّن استناداً إلى حجج دقيقة بأن هذا المفهوم يضطر بعد أن تتقاطع المفاهيم الجنسية عند الراشد في البناء النفساني للطفل (وبخاصة لجهة نظرية الإغواء المعممة)؛ بهذا المعنى يستطيع الإسناد أن يشكل عملية انحراف في الفكر الفرويدي. محاضرة لابلانش التي ألقاها في بيونس أيرس تحت عنوان "بيولوجية وبيولوجيا" تكمل هذا الجزء وتفيد بأن رفض الإنحراف الفرويدي نحو البيولوجيا لا تلغي البيولوجيا نفسها من الكيان الإنساني-على العكس فإنها تعطيه مكاناً إيجابياً وليس أسطورياً.
