كتاب تراثي نادر ، ينشر لأول مرة ، وهو يقع ضمن سلسلة كتب ابن النفيس وهو كان مفقودا ولكنه وجد في مخطوطة نادرة ، يتناول الكتاب أعضاء جسم الإنسان ، ويبدأ بدراسة وافية حول ابن النفيس تشتمل على سيرته ، وأساتذته وتلاميذه ، ومنهجه العلمي وإبداعاته ، ثم يبدأ في نشر الكتاب الذي تناول بالشرح أعضاء جسم الإنسان وفقا للوظائف التي تقوم بها مثلا ؛ أعضاء الصوت ، أعضاء الغذاء ، الأعضاء التناسلية ، ويقدم الكتاب جزءا متميزا حول الأعضاء التي يشترك فيها الإنسان مع الحيوان.
منذ ما يقرب من ثلاثة أعوام، كانت لنا وقفة للتعريف بابن النفيس، وضعناها في دراسة ممهدة لتحقيقنا لكتابة (شرح فصول أبقراط) وقد كانت هذه الدراسة بمثابة اللقاء الأول لنا مع هذه الشخصية العلمية الفريدة، ولم نكن بعد قد عكفنا عليه هذا العكوف الطويل. وعلى الصفحات التالية، تأتي هذه الدراسة بمثابة (الكتابة الثانية)؛ إذ اتضحت لنا خلال الأعوام الماضية، نقاط كانت غامضة، وأخرى كنا في غفلة منها. فكان لابد من إعادة الكتابة عن ابن النفيس؛ لنستدرك ما فات ونستوضح ما غمض، ونلقى بذلك مزيداً من الضوء على واحد من أكبر الشخصيات العلمية في تاريخنا.
وتنقسم هذه الدراسة إلى ثلاثة فصول: يتناول الأول تفاصيل حياة ابن النفيس وبعض الأضواء على عصره وأوقاته ومكانته العلمية. والفصل الثاني نتوقف فيه عند استاذه مهذب الدين الدخوار، وعند تلامذته الذين تخرجوا في الطب على يديه. وأما الفصل الثالث الأخير، فيدور حول ملامح المنهج العلمي عند ابن النفيس، وحول بعض الإبداعات التي أدى إليها تطبيق ذلك المنهج عنده، مع مناقشة أخيرة لمشكلة التشريح عند ابن النفيس. ولعلنا بذلك نكون قد اسمهنا في رسم صورة محددة المعالم، تكشف عن جانب مضئ من تراث العرب العلمي.. يليها الرسالة محققة.
