يقدم هذا الكتاب نتاج ندوة نظمها مركز دراسات الشرق الأوسط - الأردن بعنوان "تركيا والكيان الصهيوني وحصار غزة" بتاريخ 21/6/2010 في مجمع النقابات المهنية - عمّان، وشارك فيها باحثون أكاديميون وسياسيون أردنيون وأتراك.
ويضم الكتاب فصلين: الأول: أزمة إسرائيل في حصار غزة والدور التركي تجاهه، بيّن أن إسرائيل فشلت في تحقيق أهدافها السياسية والأمنية والعسكرية من الحصار بالقضاء على المقاومة أو تحقيق الأمن لمناطقها الجنوبية، مقابل قدرة حركة حماس على التحديد والصمود وفرض الذات أمام الضغوط السياسية والإقتصادية.
وفيما يتعلق بالمواقف العربية والإقليمية والدولية من حصار غزة على المستويين الرسمي والشعبي فثمة تباين في تلك المواقف، بين الرفض أو التعاطف والموافقة أو المشاركة فيه، ويظهر الموقف التركي جلياً من بين تلك المواقف الرافضة للحصار، ما يشير إلى تغير ملموس في سياسات تركيا تجاه القضية الفلسطينية، ومواقفها الصارمة عند إعتداءات إسرائيل على الشعب الفلسطيني وحقوقه، الأمر الذي يؤكد حضور تركيا وأهميتها الإقليمية.
أما الفصل الثاني: ورطة إسرائيل مع تركيا وتداعياتها، فناقش الأبعاد القانونية لهجوم إسرائيل على الأسطول، وأنه ينطوي على خروقات وإنتهاكات متعددة لقواعد القانون الدولي ومبادئه، وخرقاً لأحكام قانون البحار وأحكام حقوق الإنسان الدولية، وإعتداء على السيادة التركية، مما يجعل إمكانية المساءلة القانونية محتملة من خلال إستراتيجية متكاملة.
