غير أن هذا الكتاب قد اكتسب أهمية كبرى من خلال تناوله الكثير من التفاصيل والدقائق والصعوبات . فالجهد الذي بذله القاضي الرشدان لإعداده كان جهداً مميزاً ، إذ كان حريصاً على الحصول على ما استجد في هذا الموضوع على صعيد العالم العربي والغربي . ففي هذا الكتاب وقف القاضي الرشدان وقفة قانونية متميزة تناولت آخر كما توصل إليه التشريع الفرنسي والعربي في مجال الوساطة ، باحثاً عن المسائل الكلية والجزئية ، مواكباً لأحدث التعديلات التشريعية في فرنسا والدول العربية ، هادفاً لإجراء المقارنة المطلوبة ، وساعياً إلى دمجها مع خبرته في هذا المجال والتي اكتسبها أثناء دراسته للوساطة لدى جامعة لندن وعمله في إدارة الوساطة القضائية لدى محكمة بداية عمّان لعدة سنوات ، وهذه ميزة فريدة من نوعها .
ومما لاشك فيه أن كتاب القاضي الرشدان يشكل إضافة مفيدة إلى مجال تسوية النزاعات بغير طريق التقاضي عموماً ، والوساطة خصوصاً ، فعسى أن يلقى كتابه هذا الكتاب النجاح الذي يستحقه لدى رجال القانون وطلاب الحقوق .
