إن المسرح يولد حرا أبيا لا يتقبل فكرة الزيف والتزييف، فإذا ما أبدعناه وصُلنا وجُلنا على خشباته لكي يتحقق هو ، أعطانا مجدا ورفعة وألق وشعوبا راقية ذات وعي ومعرفة، وإن كان ذلك من أجل ذواتنا نحن دونه، لفظ بنا على قارعة الطريق! ذلك لأنه لا يحب من يتعالى عليه! وفي أغلب الظن أن ذلك هو حالنا وما نحن عليه.
فهو سيد الإبداع والمبدعين ولا سيد له، وإن استشعر السيادة خنقنا وخنق نفسه. فها هو الآن يطوي أي ربيع تحت جناحية وينفث رياح الشتاء القارس علها تحمل لنا حبوب اللقاح.
فهو ذلك الكهف المسحور، والمحاط بسياج من الجن كما اعتقده الأقدمون في العصور الظلامية، ونصحوا بطرده، لأنهم يرون أنه أرواح شريرة، . لكنه ليس إلا بلورة سحرية، جمالية، نرى من خلالها عوالم وأزمنة مثيرة للخيال وصانعة للوجدان.
فمن منا يعطيه حقه، ويقدره حق قدره، وذا كان ذلك كذلك لصنعنا مسرحاً ينتج عالماً ومجتمعات آخذة في النمو والتطور والبهجة!.
لم تكن هذه المقالات إلا نواقيساً تدق عقول المتغافلين عن ماهية المسرح وشأنه ووجوده على الساحة العربية عفياً نشطاً فتياً كما نطمح أن يكون، فهل تتواضع ذواتنا أمامه؟ تلك هي المشكلة!...
