كتاب "أبحاث الندوة العلمية للإحتفاء بالطبيب المسلم داود الأنطاكي" التي عقدت في معهد التراث العلمي العربي بجامعة حلب بالتعاون مع المنظمة الإسلامية للتربية والعلوم والثقافة ومع المنظمة الإسلامية للعلوم الطبية، وذلك خلال الفترة 18-20 من ربيع الآخر 1425هـ والموافق لــ 6-8 من حزيران (يونيو) 2004م.
ولقد شارك في الندوة سبعة وعشرون باحثاً من العرب والأجانب توافدوا من الجامعات والمعاهد ومراكز البحوث المهتمة بتاريخ العلوم عند العرب التابعة للدول التالية: سورية، تونس، السعودية، مصر، فرنسا، فلسطين، ليبيا، الجزائر، الكويت.
يتضمن هذا الكتاب أبحاثاً مبتكرة ومتنوعة تتناول حياة داود الأنطاكي وعصره ومؤلفاته ومنهجه في التأليف وطرقه في المعالجة، وإلقاء الضوء على أفكاره المبتكرة في العلوم التي درسها، وتأثيرها على علوم عصره.
وقد أدرجنا في الكتاب كافة الأبحاث الكاملة التي وصلتنا، واقتصرنا على ملخصات الأبحاث التي لم يرسل أصحابها أبحاثهم الكاملة.
