يأتي هذا الكتاب في سلسلة كتبنا الخاصة بالمغامرة الإبداعية للنص الأدبي، فبعد كتابنا "المغامرة الجمالية للنص الشعري" و"المغامرة الجمالية للنص القصصي".
يدخل كتابنا هذا ((المغامرة الجمالية للنص الروائي)) مسيرة هذه السلسلة ليفحص بآلياته النقدية الحرّة نصوصاً روائية امتلكت - بحسب تقديرنا - طاقة المغامرة في معنى ما من معانيها، واجتهدت في أن تقدّم رؤيا سردية وفنية وثقافية عالية المستوى على أكثر من صعيد وفي أكثر من إتجاه.
إن آلية الإنتقاء التي حضرت بموجبها النصوص المختارة لتمثيل فضاء المغامرة الروائية، اعتمدت بالدرجة الأولى على قدرة هذه النصوص على الإثارة (المتعية) التي تمكّنت من تحقيقها في المجال القرائي، على النحو الذي ميّزها ووضعها برحابة أمام آليات الفعل النقدي، التي راحت تتجوّل في فضاءات هذه النصوص كاشفة عن عناصر المغامرة الجمالية فيها، وبحسب طبيعتها وكيفيتها الإبداعية والثقافية والسيميائية ومستوى إستخدامها للعناصر والمكوّنات والرؤى.
ربما كان فعل (المغامرة) في معنى أساس وجوهري من معانية يدل على التجاوز والإختراق والتجريب، بكل ما تنطوي عليه هذه المفاهيم من دلالات ورؤى وقيم وقدرات وأفعال ونتائج، ومما لا شك فيه أن المغامرة إستناداً إلى هذه المعطيات تندرج في إطار الأعمال الحيوية الخلاّقة التي بوسعها أن تضيف دائماً، ويرتبط فعل المغامرة هنا بالتحقق والإنجاز، إذ لا مغامرة من دون نتائج واضحة وساطعة على الأرض، تستطيع أن تكرّس المفهوم وتعلي من شأن الفكرة أمام الجمهور.
ترتبط المغامرة كثيراً بالتطلّع وسعة الأفق والإيمان بالأمل وبقدرة الذات البشرية على تجاوز الحدود وصنع المعجزات، فضلاً على إستغلال كامل الطاقة الإنسانية عبر إستنهاض كلّ قواها وإستنفار إمكاناتها من أجل الوصول بفكرة المغامرة إلى مستوى الإنجاز والتحقق.
