لا لأنه من تأليفى، ولا لأنى أعانى من ازمة توزيع، ولا لأنى أحتاج الى شهرة، وذيوع اسم، ولكن... لأن فيه فكراً جديداً، ورأياً جديداً، وتطبيقاً بلاغياً جديداً، وتأصيلاً لتراثنا البلاغى وامتداداً لأراء شيخنا "امين الخولى"، رحمه الله واسكنه فسيح جناته.
أخى القارئ، لو درت بعينك فى المكتبة البلاغية الحديثة لن تجد باحثاً تفرغ لشاعر معروف ترك ديواناً ضخماً (685، 14 بيتاً)، شاعر فى قامة أحمد شوقى، وطبق عليه مبدأ التأصيل والتجديد من خلال فنون الوفاء بالمعنى والايقاع، ثم من خلال الوفاء بالمعنى ثم الايقاع، مع التجديد فى مفاهيم المصطلحات البلاغية، ووضع اليد على خصائص شوقى الفنية.
الكثيرون بحثوا فى شعر شوقى، ولكن من الزاوية الادبية، أقل القليل من اهتم بأن يطيل الوقفة البلاغية، وقد سبق بحثى هذا بحث الاستاذ الدكتور محمد الهادى الطرابلسى (المجلس الاعلى للثقافة - 1996 م ط الهيئة المصرية العامة) وهو بحث أحنى له رأسى تقديراً واحتراماً، وكان منهجة بلاغياُ لغوياً (من الوجهة الاسلوبية)، أما منهجى هذا فبلاغى فنى تراثى تجديدى.
فإن كان فى بحثى هذا من السلبيات ما فيه، ففيه من الإيجابيات ما يكفية، لذا هذا كتاب يجب أن يقرأ، فقد يحوز رضاك.
