يمين أعسر مُغَرَّب الجزء الثالث
وتبقى الذكريات قيداً خفياً لروح لطالما كانت طليقة. إلا أن أسراً ثل ذا يؤنس كلما ضاق، ويحل كلما ازداد. دافعاً بالتائهين، مانحاً كل الناقصين. لكنه كان بالضبط كمقياس النبض، يهبط ويرتفع، يهبط ويرتفع، ولذا فإنني أقول أنني أحب هذا القسم، من كل قلبي، لقد مدَّتني كلماتي بالقوة حين ضعفي، واختبرت غالب شعور الشخصيات في القسم بشكل مباشر وشخصي، لزَم علي أن أُعمِل عقلي في أكثر لحظات حياتي حُلكَة، وأسجل المعلومات، أختبر ملوحة دموعهم والعناء، شعرت بالغربة لاختلاف أفكاري، شعرت بالخواء، كنت أكتب بعض الكلمات ضاحكة في سِري: أجهل من أين تستطيعين اختلاق الحكم والجُمل يا ليان، لكن هكذا هي القصص، حكم مهترئة، وهراء أكثر اهتراءً!
لا أمزح! هكذا كنت أفكر - بسلبية - لليالي وأيام طويلة أثناء كتابتي لبعض الفصول، لكنني كنت أكمل أحيانًا: (وما المانع؟ ربما تدفع هذه الحكم بأي شخص يصدق قد يصدق الحياة ووجهها المبتهج، وهكذا أكون قد ساعدت شخصًا لا أعرفه، وتدفع هذه الكلمات بشخص آخر إلى الأمام.)
لكن هذه الكلمات مؤخرًا بصقت في وجهي وولت هاربة، وجه الحياة المبتهج؟ لقد آمنت بكلماتي في لحظاتي اليائسة، وكلماتي التي كانت يومًا كاذبة أضحت أكثر صدقًا وساعدتني في السير خطوة خطوة للأمام كالطفل الرضيع.
